Trying to get things out of ther way bfore heading out to E Oxf this afternoon. So much to do though! A big pile of artwork from the anti-bullying competition to put up! It's great that it goes up and I know for a fact that all the slideshows, jingles, raps, and posters I have online are used loads by people all over the world (it shows up in my stats each month) but I really wish sometimes that there were two of me and one could go down to the centre to do art activities and the other one could stay here and get all the stuff I need to get done done :/

The other thing I'm doing is little bits of sorting out on the new-style pages in the connexions section

www.spired.com/connexions

They will be harder to transfer into the new system than the old-style pages because there's more page furniture but I couldn't bear having undesigned pages in the end. So many little itty bitty bits to tidy up! But at least it looks less ugly now.

I've been looking at free drawing software trying to see what's a good one to use. But I think that the trouble is I just always go back to what I'm used to, so I download something, use it for a bit and then I forget about it again. A bit like new pencils -- even the really pretty ones, you use them for a bit then go back to what you know well and what is reliable.

I quite like the online drawing tools -- I've got a bunch of pics over on Tegaki-e

ha ha ha

But I stopped one day and never went back again

Second meeting of the East Oxford manga group yesterday. Getting towards the end of the Ginger Ninja vs. Sparkly Vampire comic, though it may need to go to a second issue as it looks like I'm going to end on a cliff-hanger.

Talking about good animated films to go and see this year for a cinema trip. I could only think of The Illusionist which isn't really going to appeal I think (it's so old fashioned, a real period piece) -- wonder if the centre's licensed to show DVDs? We might do better to have a popcorn + DVD evening TBH.

Was teased for drawing long legs, long arms. I like to draw all stretched out though. Need some better colours.
